Subjecting Locusts and Bees to a Full Spectrum Sound Energy

What happens if we subject locusts or bees to various sound waves? Can we control them and their flight path? Might be a good thing for African Killer Bees around schoolyards? Or to divert locust swarms and locust plagues from crops to prevent devastation of human food supplies. We all know with more and more mouths to feed in many countries, and we cannot afford to lose anymore crops.

Has anyone ever subjected locusts and bees to a full spectrum of sound energy? Well, I do not know, but my guess is yes with regard to sound and no with regards to all spectrums. But I bet with Bees and research in the military testing of Microwave, lasers, ultra-sound, ELF, VLF, ULF, radar, etc, that there is some excellent data on all of this.

And the agricultural industry has also been testing stuff with regards to Aphids and other crop destroying insects, especially the ever-growing Organic Agricultural industry. That is where I would look first. Perhaps mankind should look into subjecting insects to various directed sound waves to see if indeed we can control them; it would save on pesticides and insecticides perhaps and makes a lot of sense to prevent these devastating locust plagues and swarms, which threaten human civilizations. Consider all this in 2006.
